Marshall County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner Set for Oct. 9

The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is slated from 5-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Grand Vue Park. This premier event brings together business leaders, educators, and community members to celebrate achievement, leadership, and service in Marshall County.

This year’s featured speaker is Jamie Caridi, president of Bethany College. Caridi has served as president since Jan. 1, 2022, and brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education. Under his direction, Bethany College has experienced significant enrollment growth, launched new academic programs, and achieved renewed financial stability. He previously served in senior leadership roles at Ohio Dominican University and Saint Vincent College and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In addition to Dr. Caridi’s keynote address, the Chamber will present several awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award – Business; the Dr. David Ealy Community Service Award; Marshall County Schools Teacher of the Year Award; and the Marshall County Schools Service Personnel of the Year Award.

“These awards honor the individuals and organizations who make Marshall County strong,” said Scott Reager, executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. “Our annual dinner is a celebration of leadership, service and the bright future of our community.”
