Ohio County Schools On Two-Hour Delay
Ohio County Schools announced Wednesday night that, due to the weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service and the freezing temperatures predicted for Thursday morning, the school district will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday.
According to the NWS, gusty winds are expected through Thursday, which will increase the potential for snow squalls Thursday morning and affect drivers’ commute. Wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour are expected and local gusts of 45 to 50 miles per hour are possible.
