JAMES PARKER

James Russell Keyser Parker, 19, of Cameron, WV, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014, in Cameron.

He was born on October 19, 1995, in Morgantown, WV.

He was a 2013 graduate of Cameron High School, Baptist by faith, worked as a laborer for the 1149 Labor Union and was on the Cameron Fire Department.

Russell was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ida McGary.

Surviving are his parents, Tracy (McGary) Messner of Cameron and John Parker Jr. of Moundsville: step-father, Mike Messner of Cameron; step-mother, Betty Holmes of Moundsville; brother, Justin (Chelsea) Keyser of Moundsville, WV; step-brothers, Chris Messner, Logan Messner, both of Cameron, and Cody Holmes of Moundsville; maternal grandfather, Tom McGary of Cameron; paternal grandparents, John Parker Sr. and Sharon Parker of Moundsville; two nieces and and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Friends will be received Tuesday, December 30, 2014, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at Care Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Mounds-ville, with Pastor Jim Higginson officiating.

Following services, a luncheon will be held at the Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department.
