Douglas Marshall Lemasters, 56, of Valley Grove, WV, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at the Ohio Valley Medical Center.

He was born July 8, 1960, in Washington, PA, son of Barbara Lemasters and the late Robert J. Lemasters, Sr.

He graduated from Wheeling Park High School. He was a self-employed contractor, who loved working with his hands and supervising industrial construction jobs. He was always “the Mr. Fixit” man!

In addition to his father, he was preceded by two brothers, Robert James Lemasters, Jr. and David Wayne Lemasters.

Douglas loved many things in his life, including being around people and spending time with his “mum,” fiance, kids and friends.

He loved music and attending concerts, as well as Jamboree In The Hills; four wheeling; spending time in nature, mostly in the Bergoo Mountains; being a member of the Vineyard Church in Wheeling, WV, where he especially loved the Lord; playing pool; and mowing and perfecting the lawn.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiance, Dixie Myers of West Liberty, WV; three children, D.J. Lemasters of Dallas Pike, WV, Amanda Lemasters of Wheeling, WV, and Dylan Lemasters of Bethlehem, WV; two great-grandchildren, Jobe James Lemasters and David Wayne Lemasters; two sisters, Pam Lemasters of Triadelphia, WV, and Michelle White of Texas; a niece, Kelsey; several uncles and aunts; and dear friends, Russ and Michelle Myers.

Friends will be received on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, WV, 26003 (304-242-2311) with Mr. Barry Bullman officiating.
