Frank “Skeeter” Liskanich, 97, of Shadyside died Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Shadyside Care Center.
He was born April 30, 1919 in Colver, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Steve and Mary Stesonach Liskanich.
Frank was a retired member of Teamsters Local 697 of Wheeling and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Anna McVey and Rose Dziorney, and brothers, Michael and John Liskanich.
Surviving are his brother, Steve (Sharon) Liskanich of Powhatan Point, Ohio, and also several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio with Full Military Honors by the Powhatan Veterans Association.
