Donald Ray Van Camp, Sr., 76, of Elm Grove, WV, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH.

He was born April 22, 1942, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Eddie Theodore and Ruth Alice Schoonover Van Camp.

Donald was a graduate of Wheeling High School. He was a retired coal miner for the McElroy Mine, Moundsville, WV, and a former Security Guard for Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Van Camp.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda K. Coss Van Camp; three sons, Donald R. (Samantha) Van Camp, Jr. of Newark, DE, Dennis J. (Michelle) Van Camp of Cincinnati, OH, and Daniel (Kristen) Van Camp of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister, Judy Lund of Wheeling, WV; seven grandchildren, Stormy, Harrison, London, Judith, Aryss, Jasmine, and Nathaniel; and a niece, Rebecca Lund.

Friends will be received Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311) with Rev. Margie Carr officiating. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
