It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Theresa Drosieko Lindert on October 6, 2019. Theresa, or “T” as many friends and family called her, was born Mary Theresa Drosieko on March 13, 1951 in Wheeling, W.Va.

Theresa was a graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School who went on to get her nursing license, and worked for many years at Wheeling Hospital. In her retirement, Theresa enjoyed traveling with her husband David, delivering meals on behalf of the Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center, trying new recipes, collecting antique glassware, tirelessly rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and lovingly spoiling her two pugs, Max and Sassy.

Theresa will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, her loyalty and her complete absence of pretension. She was a kind, easy-going friend to everyone she met from the moment she met them.

With her passing Theresa leaves behind her loving husband of 36 years, Dr. David J. Lindert; her three stepdaughters, Kelly, Heidi and Molly Lindert; her grandson, Kieran Cross; her niece, Kelly Drosieko; and her nephews, Michael, John, and Christopher Drosieko.

In death she is reunited with her beloved mother, Mary Kryah Drosieko, her father, John Drosieko, her sister, Elizabeth Drosieko Ewing, and her brother, Michael “Zake” Drosieko.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 10 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Catholic Charities of West Virginia (www. catholic charitieswv.org) or the Ohio Valley SPCA (http:// ohiovalleyspca. weebly.com).
