Floyd Ralph Loughrie Sr., 79, of Wellsburg, WV passed away November 8, 2019 at UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born April 10, 1940 in West Liberty, WV to the late Junior Adam and Artie Esther Annon Loughrie.

Floyd was a retiree of Windsor Coal Mine, a member of the New Day Christian Center and served as a Deacon, United Mine Workers of America.

Floyd enjoyed farming and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Floyd “Wink” Loughrie Jr., who passed in 2014; and his brother, John Loughrie.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Marlene Counselmen Loughrie; his son, William “Bill” Loughrie and his wife, Diane of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters Mary June Braham and her husband, Paul of Independence, WV, and Florence Dittrich of Washington, PA; a granddaughter, Amanda McGary and her husband, Tyler; and grandson, Justin Loughrie also survive.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, WV 26070. Service will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Angel Adams officiating.
