Robert W. “Bear” DiBias, 67, of Wheeling, died Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born June 21, 1952, in Wheeling, a son of the late Charles and Marion Palermo DiBias.

Bear was owner of Warwood Plumbing Co. for over 40 years, was a member of the Snake Club, Cave Club, Warwood Vets and the Foresters of Bridgeport and was Catholic by faith.

In addition to his parents, Bear was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Premy DiBias and a sister, Gladys DiBias.

Bear is survived by his loving wife Margarita DiCesare DiBias, three children; Mario (Lisa) DiBias of Martins Ferry, OH, Maria (Tim) Birdsong of Washington, PA, and Marco DiBias of Wheeling, a sister; Maryann (Kevin) Hamilton of Latrobe, PA, four grandchildren; Mia and Nico DiBias and Keaton and Rocco Birdsong, several nieces and nephews and brother’s and sister’s in law.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., from 1-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with Msgr.
