Douglas James Ensinger, 47, of Woodsfield, OH, died Friday, June 19, 2020, at his home.
He was born May 25, 1973 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of Pamela J. Ady Ensinger and Charles Lewis Ensinger.
Doug was a self-employed carpenter with his own business with his son, Tristin Ensinger, called “Ensinger & Sons” where they built custom cabinetry and were master craftsman. He was a long time employee of the former Ormet Corp. and was a member of United Steelworkers Local #5724 and the Moose Lodge # 2247. Doug loved his birds as he watched and fed them. Recently he created a backyard haven for many other wild critters. He loved to cook and bake for his family and friends. There was NO other more loyal fan to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Doug loved golfing with his kids, fishing and spending time in his wood shop. His greatest love was his children and his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Billie Jean Ady and paternal grandfather, William Ensinger.
Survivors include his mother, Pamela; father, Charles; paternal grandmother, Moynelle “Toots” Ensinger; two sisters, Trudy Ensinger (Charlie) and Tracy Pyles (John); he had four beautiful children with Bernadette Ensinger; two sons, Tristin Ensinger (Carli) and Jacob Ensinger (Emma); two daughters, Isabella Ensinger (Phillip) and Autumn Ensinger; a granddaughter, Adaline Ensinger; his loyal dog, Buddy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will celebrate Doug’s life on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 3-7pm at the Brown Community Center, 100 Creamery Street, Woodsfield, OH.
