ROSE MCFARLAND
Rose Marie McFarland (Rupich), aged 75, died and went home to the Lord on May 18, 2020 after a brief illness due to complications of COVID-19 in Falls Church, VA. Born in Wheeling, WV on July 11, 1944, she was the fourth child of the late John Nicholas Rupich and Anna Rose Rupich (Shercell), of Warwood, Wheeling. She is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Blazek; her brother and his wife John and Helen Rupich; and her brother Charles Rupich.
Rose is survived by her sister Barbara King (Jack) of Fort Mill, SC; son Jeffrey McFarland of Arlington, VA; son Trevor McFarland (Jennifer) of Brambleton, VA; daughter Stephanie Christacos (Steven) of Alexandria, VA; her daughter Megan Shannon (Greg) also of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren, Grady McFarland, Zoe McFarland, Julia Christacos, George Christacos, and Arden Shannon; as well as her many nieces and nephews. All of them she touched and loved deeply.
