Gerald “Jerry” W. Morris, Jr., 63, of Lakeland, FL., passed away on April 30, 2020.
Jerry fought bravely against lung cancer.
Jerry is preceded in death by his Mother, Ramona Morris (1999); a sister, Norma “Libby” Baggott (2017); childhood best friend, Bob George (2019).
Jerry was a very dedicated employee of Quala Wash, as supervisor of maintenance. He and his wife, Sue, enjoyed having family and friends visit their home in Florida. Jerry and Sue were always the perfect hosts.
Jerry would alwaysplan special sight seeing trips. A few went haywire, which led to the source of great laughs and memories.
Jerry also enjoyed flying his remote helicopter, on Sunday mornings, with friends. Jerry had a huge heart for rescuing squirrels. He and Sue rescued over 19 squirrels. A few of the most special ones were, Peanut, Bam Bam and Benji.
Surviving is his best friend and wife, Susan Stillwagon Morris; father, Gerald W. Morris, Sr., sisters, Deborah Shinsky (Arley) of KY and Maureen Wagner (Russ) of Wheeling. Daughter, Tramenda Miklas. Stepson, First Class Sargeant Gary Nutter and his wife, First Class Sargeant, Misti, of Charleston, WV; Step daughter, Heather Warchol and husband, Derek of TN. Grandchildren; Mason, Madison and Maddox Miklas; Michael Ramsey, Ally Nutter, Sierra Yates (Dylan), Paige Nutter, Samantha and Savannah Warchol. Great Grandchildren; Emery and Laken Yates. Also, Uncle Robert Morris and Brother-in- law Art Baggott.
