ELMER SALSBURY JR
Elmer “Bo” Salsbury Jr., age 83, of Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV, due to COVID-19.
He was born June 1, 1937, in Sardis, OH, the son of the late Elmer E. and Zella Suter Salsbury.
He was a retired foreman from Consolidated Coal; a Catholic by faith; a member of Cedar Avenue Church of Christ; loved to hunt, fish, play music; and he especially loved his family, his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Neubauer Salsbury; and a sister, Ruth Headley.
Survivors include three daughters, Kelly Taylor of Cameron, WV, Kim (Dave) Poling of Glen Easton, WV, and Robyn (Chris) Kirk of O’Fallon, MO; seven grandchildren, Nicholas (Melissa) Chaplin, Joshua (Heidi) Chaplin, Scott (Mandi) Chaplin, Justin Poling, Aaron (Andie) Poling, Andrew Kirk, and Kyle Kirk; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Homer Salsbury of Fly, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
