Helen Dumisinecz, formerly of Warwood, died January 18, 2021, at Continuous Care Center.
She was born May 15, 1930, in Warwood, WV, the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia Sephora Dumisinecz.
Helen worked at the Warwood Kroger in the meat department for 40 years and she was Russian Orthodox by faith.
She was selfless, always helping and caring for others, and her smile welcomed everyone. She had a very special place in her heart for her faith, family, friends, flowers, old movies, and her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her siblings: John Dumisinecz, Ann Kline, Mary Dumisinecz, Josephine Halavonich, Charles Dumas, Frank Dumas and two infant brothers; and Wade Hummel.
Helen is survived by her eight nieces and nephews: Jeff (Elizabeth) Dumas, Bradley Dumas, and Rhea (Dwaine) K. Rodgers, all of Wheeling, WV; Karen Reynolds of Littleton, MA; Shirley (Frank) Pascuizzi of North Olmstead, OH; Annette Skrzynski of Dearborn, MI; Rene’ Hayden of Ferndale, MI; and John (Debra) Dumisinecz of Steubenville, OH; and numerous great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday, January 22, 2021, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Avenue. Graveside services and interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with Father Demetrios Tsikouris officiating.
