Kenneth E. Nething, age 95, of Hannibal, OH, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2021 in Wetzel County Hospital New Martinsville, WV.
He was born September 12, 1925 in Monroe Co., OH, a son of the late Oscar W. and Mary L. Lively Nething.
He was a retired maintenance/bricklayer for the former Ormet Corp. in Hannibal and a member of the Duffy Church of Christ and USWA Local # 5724.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his first wife of 51 years, Grace V. Custer Nething; infant son, Kent Nething and two brothers, George and Gilbert Nething.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie I. Suppes Nething; a daughter, Sharon (Arnold) Isner of Hannibal, OH; step son, Roger (Vickie) Nething of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren, Arlene (Lloyd) Cross and Kenny (Bridget Giovinazzo) Isner, both of Hannibal; two step-grandchildren, Eric (Mandi) Nething of Valrico, FL and Melissa (Dave) Back of Kingsport, TN; five great-grandchildren, Kelsie (Brian Clegg) Cross, Kylie (Logan Alleman) Cross, Kendall Cross, Shaden Isner, and Aubree Isner eight step grandchildren, Garrett, Emma, Ryan, Dalton and Easton Nething, Kaelynn, Ashlea, Nathanael Back.
Masks and social distancing are required.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, with Evangelist Greg Yost officiating.
Interment will follow in Emma Grove Cemetery Hannibal, OH.
