Lyle Stanley Jackson, Jr., 81, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Columbus Alzheimers Care Center. Lyle was born on January 7, 1940, in Wheeling, West Virginia. He moved to Lancaster in 1964 where he resided until 2010.

Lyle was a beloved brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Lyle is survived by his sister, Lois Greig; sons Lyle (Marty) Jackson, Eric Jackson, and Morgan Jackson; grandchildren Rebekah (Jeremy) Raab, Devin (Koren) Jackson, Amanda Jackson, Samuel Jackson, and Augustus Jackson; and great grandchildren Lily, Susan, Jackson, Emmerson, Charlan, and Andrik.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle Jackson and Marguerite Farkas, and sister Pat.

A mouldmaker and master machinist by trade, Lyle enjoyed working with his hands and delighted in solving mechanical problems in creative ways, never failing to amaze his sons. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar and accordion, restoring his 1956 Thunderbird, and was an avid boater and fisherman. With a warm spot in his heart for cats, he was never without one as a household companion.
