Thomas Lee Lantz, Sr., 84, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Wheeling Hospital.
Thomas was born on June 12, 1936, in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late Alfred and Pearl (Wilson) Lantz-Flowers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Lopez and his wife’s uncle and aunt, Tony and Betty Petrella.
Thomas was a retired Foreman for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wheeling, where he was a Deacon and Choir member, Taught at Wheeling Community College and a member of S.T.L.E. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at WVU and his Masters at University of Pittsburgh.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Patty (Brizzoli) Lantz of Wheeling; children, Thomas Lantz Jr. of Wheeling and Davida Marie Delgado of Wheeling; sister, Sandra Lopez of Florida and grandson, Nicholas Emilio Delgado of Wheeling.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with Rev. Kenny Hardway and Pastor Barry Cline officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or New Heart Covenant Church in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
