JOSEPH L. HOFFMAN

Joseph L. Hoffman, 58, of South Park, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

He was born on January 6, 1963, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John C. and Pauline A. (Durand) Hoffman.

Joe was a graduate of Lock Haven University where he received a scholarship for wrestling.

Joe enjoyed fishing but his true passion was golfing. He achieved the pinnacle of golf not once, but had two hole in ones during his lifetime. Joe also loved spending time with his family, friends and his loyal companions, Bailey and Remi. He was very active in his children’s lives making sure to attend and support all of their sporting events. Joe also enjoyed vacationing with his family and friends. Joe was fun-loving, outgoing and was known to be a jokester.

Joe is survived by his beloved and cherished wife, Virginia “Ginny” Hoffman and was the former husband of Theresa Honeygosky; loving father to Brittany A. Hoffman, Brandon J. Hoffman and step-sons, Paul Ross Lenchinsky and Christopher W. Lenchinsky; brother to Joyce (Richard) Guzik, John C. (Tammy) Hoffman Jr., Janet (Ted) Lohner, Jean Hoffman and Jason (Debbie) Hoffman; son-in- law to Geneva Ross McKee; brother-in-law to Ann Ross (David Weiss) McKee and Donald W. (Laura) McKee; also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941- 3211), where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m.
