On Saturday, March 13th, 2021 Michael Anthony Renzella passed away at the age of 39, due to a motorcycle accident in Jacksonville, Florida.
Michael was born August 12, 1981 in Glen Dale, WV to Michael and Bobbi (Morrell) Renzella. After graduating from John Marshall High School, Class of 2000, Michael attended West Virginia University, held an active Florida Real-Estate License and found success in the Financial Services Industry.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Nicholas Renzella and maternal grandmother Emma Lee (Maupin) Morrell, he is survived by his parents, daughter Kenley Brielle Renzella and stepson Preston Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, brother Robert, sister Heather (Robert Thomas) maternal grandfather Robert Morrell, paternal grandmother Patricia Rose Renzella, nieces Dylan Renzella, Camryn Renzella, and nephew Rowan Renzella. He was blessed with several aunts, great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mike loved riding his motorcycles, shooting pool, and rooting for the Mountaineers with his father. His passion for friends and family were matched only by his drive to succeed. Above all, Michael cherished his role as father, never wavering in his commitment to his children. His quick wit, unique sense of humor, and infectious smile will be missed by all whose lives were touched by him.
A memorial was held on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at Bartram Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida, with the Reverend Gary Poplin officiating. A second memorial for friends and family will be held in West Virginia at a date to be determined.
