Harley Edward Gouldsberry, 85, of Moundsville, WV, pass- ed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving children Doug, Susie, and Jenna.

He is joyfully reunited with his wife, the love of his life for 55 years, Gertrude R. (Meeker) Gouldsberry.

He attended Middle Grave Creek Church of God in Moundsville, WV. He was a retired mechanic from Bayer Chemical from which he worked 27 ¢ years. Prior to Bayer, he was employed by Fostoria Glass for 5 years, Ireland Coal Mine for 9 years, and Gouldsberry Cabinets for 5 years. He was also a PFC in the Army ROTC in 1957 and called back in 1961 during the Cuban Crisis.

Harley loved life. He loved spending time with family more than anything and had a passion for gardening, cooking, baking, card playing, golfing, singing, and spending half of each year with his dear friends in Florida at Live Oak RV Resort.

Harley was born on October 27, 1935 in Glen Easton, WV to the late Francis R. and Thelma M. (Cunningham) Gouldsberry.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Goulds- berry, a sister Margaret (Gouldsberry) Kidd, and his grandson Zachariah Daugherty.

He is survived by three children: Doug (Tammy) Gouldsberry of Moundsville, Susie (Scott) Kelch and Jenna (Chris) Daugherty all of Wheeling; one brother Ronnie Gouldsberry, one sister: Phyllis (Paul) Clark and a brother- in-law: Dave (Darlene) Meeker all of Moundsville; seven grandchildren Kristina Gouldsberry of Washington, PA, Douglas Gouldsberry, Becca (Tyler) Fordyce all of Moundsville, Hunter Kelch of Cameron, and Josie Daugherty, Natalie Daugherty, and Danielle Daugherty all of Wheeling; two great-grandchildren Hadley Rahr of Washington, PA and Loralei Fordyce of Moundsville; and num erous nieces, nephews, and great friends.

His story telling and laughter will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2nd from 2-4 and 6-9pm and Tuesday, August 3rd from 10am until time of service at 11am at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Pastor David Sessums officiating.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Mound- sville.
