MICKELENE “MICKEY” KOVALICK

She was born October 1, 1951 in Wheeling the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Ann Amato Kovalick.

Mickey was a retired cashier from DiCarlo’s Pizza, Elm Grove with over 24 years of service; a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Wheeling and loved cats.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Nicholas Kovalick and one sister-in-law, Mary Kovalick.

Survivors include one brother, Robert “Bob” Kovalick, Sr. of Wheeling; three nieces and nephews, Mindy (Roger) Kent of Triadelphia; Robert Kovalick, Jr. and Becky (Mickey) Miskiewicz both of Wheeling; two great- nieces, Krista Montes of NC and Maliah Miskiewicz of Wheeling; numerous cousins and many faithful DiCarlo’s customers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Wheeling Continuous Care for their 5 years of devoted and loving care given to Mickey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/ Wheeling where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11:00am with Fr. Michael Nwokocha officiating.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
