ROBERT AND MARY COFFIELD

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob”, 95, and Mary, 89, (Updegraff) Coffield just two days apart; Mary on February 3, 2025 and Bob on February 5, 2025.

Their life together is the love story of all time having been married for more than 74 years. They built a life together on the foundation of love and family, holding hands until their last moments together.

A devoted nurse, Mary found immense fulfillment in her career, especially treasuring the moments spent having tea parties and sing-a-longs with her patients. Her compassionate nature and dedication to caring for others were evident throughout her life.

Bob devoted many years to his work as an overhead crane operator, where his diligence and expertise were admired by all who worked alongside him. Feeling the call to serve, Bob bravely joined the United States Army fulfilling his service to his country.

Outside of their professional lives, Bob and Mary found joy in a variety of interests. They delighted in dancing, traveling, playing cards and gardening together. The only time you would see Bob without Mary was while he was with his second love, deer and bird hunting. Anyone who knew Bob, knows hunting held a special place in his heart.
