CYNTHIA BIPPUS
Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Bippus, born on February 2, 1957, in Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at WVU Medicine – Wheeling Hospital, at the age of 68.
Cindy embraced her role as a devoted homemaker with grace and dedication, tirelessly nurturing her family with kindness and love. Her unwavering commitment to caring for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Cindy found joy in cooking and eagerly watching cooking shows. Her vibrant spirit extended to her love of flowers and an enduring adoration for all animals, reflecting her boundless compassion and tenderness.
Cindy was Catholic by faith and it is where she drew strength and solace throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Bippus and Shirley Steinman, and leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her devoted partner, Wilber W. Garrison; her beloved daughter, Leteka M. Bojanowski and husband, Mark E. Bojanowski; and her treasured grandson, Alec T. Bojanowski.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and legacy during visitation on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 11:30 AM at Mount Calvary Cemetery Bishop’s Chapel, 1685 National Rd., Wheeling, followed by a private interment where Cindy will be laid to rest.
