Gene Lawson Holmes, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Saint Clairsville, OH. He was born May 11, 1937 in Marshall County, WV a son of the late Randolph and Osie (Baker) Holmes. Gene was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Operating Engineer’s Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmer Holmes and Ron Holmes.
