Continue Probing November Election
President Donald Trump’s futile attempt to salvage his re-election bid by alleging widespread balloting irregularities was doomed virtually from the start. But members of Congress — both Democrat and Republican — should not let the matter rest.
President-elect Joe Biden won the election by margins sufficient to argue that voting irregularities might not have changed the result. But what about other races, perhaps even at the local level? Might they have been swayed by election fraud?
Soon after Biden takes office, both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives should open investigations into the election. The American people deserve to know the truth, whatever it may be, about the election.
