Keep Vaccinating, W.Va.

More than 170,000 West Virginians — that’s just shy of 10 percent of the total population — have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the Department of Health and Human Resources.

Another 100,000-plus people have received their first dose of the vaccine, which means by today, more than 275,000 West Virginians will have at least some protection from the virus.

Having 15 percent of the population with at least one shot within two months of the vaccine’s release goes to the work being done by state health officials, let alone the fact that the most vulnerable are being vaccinated first.

Keep up the good work, West Virginia!
