Cook Gets Win for Babydog
We all can sympathize with Glen Dale resident Shannon Cook as she was rendered speechless at Cabela’s at The Highlands this past week while standing in front of several hundred people — including Gov. Jim Justice and his pet bulldog, Babydog — to learn she had just won a new pickup truck as part of the “Do it for Babydog” vaccination sweepstakes.
Cook and her husband, Steve, drove away in a new Ford pickup after entering the contest. She is the first Upper Ohio Valley winner of one of the contest’s major prizes.
We congratulate the Cooks on their new vehicle and wish them the best.
