Giving What’s Needed

The employees of East Ohio Regional Hospital have given a lot back to the community. By reopening the facility that was closed for about 18 months, they have provided a sense of safety and security in terms of health care.

Earlier this month, though, most of them also gave a critical resource that will save even more lives — they donated blood.

The American Red Cross says the need is critical this summer. So, out of a potential 41 donors during a recent drive, 39 units were collected; about 114 lives will be saved as a result.

So, as opportunities arise, make sure you do your part, too. Join the staff at EORH in giving blood. It’s a small sacrifice that can make a very big difference.
