Seniors’ Group Says No to Two-Way Traffic

Editor, News-Register:

I am a member of Wheeling AARP 824. At a recent luncheon/meeting, the vice mayor was our guest speaker. Seventy-five active members attended that day. When the vice mayor asked if we had questions, it was put to the floor of why the two-way traffic is even being considered. Those 75 Wheeling seniors made it loud and clear, with a NO, our feelings in that matter.

I recently wrote to Mayor Elliott of my personal concerns in this matter, being a life-time resident. Let the Wheeling residents show their feelings at the November 2018 election, who make their homes in the high rises, throughout our city. We should count for something.
