Police Protection Needs Improved in D.C.

Editor, News-Register:

Where were the police?

That’s the question we ought to be asking about what happened to a group of Kentucky high school students in Washington D.C. after the pro-life march.

Why wasn’t the police department conducting better patrol of Washington hot spots?

Why were these young men subjected to an explosive atmosphere? They were tehre to exercise their right to peacefully protest abortion.

People kept quiet in Germany and the S.S. took over.

At age 18 these students are required to register for the military draft. And like many young men before them, they may be called to put their lives on the line to protect Americans, even those Americans developing in the womb.
