Sad Day for America
December 18 marked two things.
The first was the filing deadline for candidates in Ohio, and the other was the most politically-divisive moment in our nation’s history, the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Members of Congress showed yet again they are more worried about their own agenda than “we the people.”
The hate in this country is disheartening, and the circus in Washington D.C. is not what we here in eastern Ohio deserve.
When the people speak, it should matter.
Americans elected Donald Trump the President of the United States.
Nancy Pelosi and her followers in Congress rejected the will of the people and voted to impeach President Trump anyway. I’m looking forward to being on the ballot on March 17; because legislators should work for the people, not against them. United we stand, divided we fall. God bless America.
May all of you whether you’re a Republican, Democrat or Independent have a safe and happy holiday.
Happy New Year!
