There is NO WAY these two losers could be mistaken for law enforcement. If two dopeheads like this break down my door, claiming to be police or not, they’ll learn a lesson that will be of absolutely no use to them in the remaining two seconds of their miserable lives.

This is not a political party issue. These residents had the ability to own a firearm and evidently chose not to. It is their choice. Further, If you have men at your front and back door claiming to be police officers and then they kick the door in, it would be foolish to shoot if you have an available weapon. In this case they were not LE, but even the most innocent cases-officers have got the wrong house or apartment in which they had a warrant for. This could result in shooting an officer, and that would not come with a light sentence. Back in the 70's, I know someone who's apartment was busted in with several officers-they had the wrong apartment, tore the place up seeking a drug dealer. It can be no win for the victims. If they claim to be officers....you better comply

I strongly urge our West Virginia citizens NOT to obtain a permit to conceal. All this does is allow the government to know from whom they can take guns. It is time the criminals learn to fear the innocent.

I wonder if these 2 drove by the Glen Dale Speedway gas station first to see if the MOUNDSVILLE POLICE Cruisers were up there? Just askin.

Forbes 2/1/13

NRA Winning the Influence Battle Over Gun Control

The pro-gun rights voice is rapidly gaining influence while the pro-gun control voice has tapered in recent weeks. Momentum is shifting and the gun control debate is becoming a platform benefiting gun rights advocates.

The pro–gun control group is fragmented whereas the pro-gun rights voice is united and strong. Of the top influencers on the pro-gun rights side, the majority of the most prominent voices are from the NRA. The pro-gun control voice is split between Obama and several gun control advocacy groups which dilutes the message."

BBBWHAHAHAAH! These two LUUZERS help the Pro Gun debate.

Thanks, jacka&&!

The home invasion has not yet reached its peak in the US or the valley, and that enough reason to have a firearm in your house. There is no one to stop them but you and if you don't you and your family become the poor lady in Bellaire who ended being horribly murdered (and worse) by pilled up home invaders who figured that being old she must have drugs in the house. Those who feel that we should all just die rather than have a gun (cuz the Wizard says he does not want us to have them anymore)are messed up. Wacthing the subtle campaign to make us feel that people who own firearms are the enemy is fascinating but its really just another step to create two Americas, one that lives under the watchful eye of the government, and one that protests the loss of freedoms. Using a horrific incident as the cornerstone of a political move to remove an amendment to the US Constitution is a disgusting and crass. And dangerous to the country.

Never had to use my weapon during my L.E. tenure (for which I am eternally grateful). However I have friends who employed deadly force, and it was always stressful. A few dollars or a laptop computer are not worth taking a life, if you can apprehend the suspect without firing a weapon. I have drawn my sidearm and held it at the ready when facing armed suspects, but luckily I did not have to do a Rambo. Those who are turned on by the thought of shooting someone are the last people who should be carrying guns.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG AGAIN!

Poverty, no(fairly paid)jobs, poor schools, West Virginia's screwed up judicial system, ALCOHOL and DRUGS(the real ones not marijuana) are much more of the cause than your FANTASY REASONS.

THINK!

@boxerboy.The same old rhetoric from you, blame it on the republicans. People are getting tired of listening to the same old B.S.out of your mouth. If you don't want a better America, and it will "NEVER" be better with Obozo in office, move to some deserted isle, guaranteed no one will miss you.So you are saying if young people break into your home, just leave them alone don't hurt the thieving scumbags? Your negativity shows just how stupid you are. I bet if your was run down by a car that you would want cars banned. Remember one thing, you are not the solution, you are a big part of the problem. With idiots like you around, the U.S. will not be a better place to live

Typical Republican conservative responses here. More assault weapons, more executions of young people, longer sentences for young men. Blah, blah, blah.

Same old, tired, unimaginative dullards. l l l l l l l l l l l l V V

Execute and bill parents for the bullets and the burials. Why waste more taxpayer dollars on feeding and housing these animals? Time to get serious about violent crimes committed with guns.
