Unfortunately the writer of this Editorial did not do their homework. Jefferson County spoke with Attorney DeWine's Office and supplied numbers that the AG's Office was looking for. Additionally, the Ohio Department of Health has identified Jefferson County as the County with the 3rd highest death rates from Opiates in the state. Should the writer of this Editorial looked a little deeper he/she could have retrieved all of the information they were looking for. Herion is an Epidemic. Jefferson Conty has a very large Opiate Task Force that is working hard to get the message to as many people as possible.
