Interesting commentary on what police should do when trying to arrest someone wanted for a felony. The owner of course hates just about everyone, and especially the police so the idea that they should consult with him is absurd. Collins, you know the criminal, should be held accountable but thats no fun, why pass up a chance to do cop hater rant. The cherry on top of the cop hater rant is the one where the guy says he would have shot them. Certainly explains why they made the arrest as quickly as possible, as there are people out there who want to kill them while they chase other bad guys. Am I safer because they quickly arrested a fleeing felon hiding in some guys hotel? Yep. Am I safer that the owner wants to punish them and that others weigh in that they would have shot the police officers? Nope. Do I identify with the criminal? Nope. Camstro? Nope. Do I appreciate the young men who train/work/risk as police officers to protect me? Yep, I do. We see what you deal with

All that "paramilitary" training has turned these EMPLOYEES and SERVANTS of the people into ENEMIES of the people and jack boot thugs!!!

And this is a VERY stupid tactic!!!

If I heard my door getting kicked in, in the blink of an eye, dozens of rounds would be heading in that general direction!

This is NOT LA or Detroit!!!!!

These wet behind the ears cops watched way too many TV cop shows and their mommies let them spend WAY too much time playing call of duty!!!

If all it took, was asking for a blasted key, then the City should be held accountable for the Gestapo tactics of thier keystone copper caper, sheesh.

I would be outraged if I had to pay the 1800 bucks also, because of the idiots in blue, simply because they couldnt take a few extra minutes to obtain a key from the proprietor of the Motel. The Office is ALWAYS open!!

I dont care how much trouble you have had with the Motel Owner, there are ways of going about certain things. Bet if the door was a steel door, they woulld have come to the office and ask for a key then!!

Send them back to the Police Academy and get more training, if they have to act like storm troopers. (If they had time to get a warrant, then they had time to get a key).

I wish you well...
