It's not difficult to beat a team that lost their echl goal tender of the year goalie and lost 13 key players that they started the season with.Top scoring lines were signed by AHL teams they were loaned to.NHL goal tender that was called up and then traded to another team.If the stingrays had any resemblance to the team they started the year out with, they would have been hands down the Kellycup favorites. So don't mistakingly think that you swept a great team. You swept a shell of a great team.As for your goon squad of players that can also score occasionally, let's see how they fare against a high scoring team that still has a great core group of players. The stingray team you faced was a very weakened team of players that tanked towards the end of the season, not the team that got most of the points to win the division.Of course you don't state any of these facts in your article because it is your job to make the home team look as good as possible.
