Kristen Gail Whorton and Patrick Carl Ruckh were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at First Baptist Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Darrin Wright officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bert "Cork" Whorton.
The groom is the son of Lisa Ruckh and grandson of Carl and Patricia Ruckh of Wheeling.
Taylor Whorton, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Katie Matthews was matron of honor. Jamie Ruckh, brother of the groom, served as best man.

A reception was held at the McLure House ballroom, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn Commercial Business-Technical School. She is employed at Tony's Spa in Triadelphia as a beautician.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and a 2011 graduate of Belmont Technical College. He is employed at American Electric Power, Cardinal Plant, as an equipment operator.
After a wedding trip to Sanibel Island, Fla., the couple will resde in Wheeling.
