Agnes Clemens

CLEMENS, Agnes Joan Chapline, 81, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.

She was born December 7, 1930 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late George and Clara Cook Clemens.

Mrs. Clemens was a homemaker and a member of Greggsville United Methodist Church, Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Clemens; and a sister, Eileen Chapline.

Surviving are two sons, George R. Clemens and John R. "Bob" Clemens and his wife, Nina; two grandsons, Michael R. and Stephen R. Clemens and his wife, Janet; a great-grandson, Stephen Michael Clemens; and two sisters, Eleanor DiCarlo and Mae Schaeffer.

Special thanks and gratitude to the 3rd floor south staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling (304-232-2732), with Pastor Michael Palmer officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 159 Edgington Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003; or to the Greggsville United Methodist Church, 50 GC&P Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
