FOLMAR, Thomas Lee, Sr., 71, of Wheeling passed away Monday, November 18, 2013, at home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born April 2, 1942, son of the late George C. and Anna B. Lish Folmar.
He was a retired truck driver from Liberty Distributors and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Folmar, and an aunt, Flora (Tory) Folmar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy Jean Ritchie Folmar; a daughter, Betty Davis and her husband, Jeffrey of Layton, UT; two sons, Thomas Folmar, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Wheeling, and Christopher Folmar and his wife, Marissa of Wheeling; grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, McKayla, Riley, Reagan, Thomas James, Kaitlyn, Reese, Vinnie, Cameron, and Nikita; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Evelyn; daughter-in-law Susanne Baron; a brother, James Folmar and his wife, Louise; sisters, Mary Elizabeth McPherson, Alice Mae Smith and her husband, Lee, and Kathy Nardone; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Wednesday, November 20, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where a service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 1 p.m. with Bishop Seth Orban officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
