Patriots Fall To Mohigans, 55-52

MORGANTOWN — Alex Vargo compiled a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, but Wheeling Park fell to Morgantown 55-52, in overtime in boys’ prep basketball action Friday night.

Keondreí King was also solid for the Patriots (11-4) with 17 points while Jack Stakem contributed with 14.

For the Mohigans (11-5), Nick Malone had a team-high 15 points and Cameron Selders netted 10.

Cameron 66, Magnolia 60

NEW MARTINSVILLE — Aidan Lucy supplied 18 points as Cameron edged Magnolia.

Dylan Meintel was also solid for the Dragons (13-3) with 15 points.

Leading the way for the Blue Eagles (5-10) was Jake Gamble with a game-high 27 points while Trent Scheilbelhood netted 10.

Steubenville 74, Brooke 39

WELLSBURG — Ryan Rauch led four double-figure scorers with 15 points as Steubenville downed Brooke.

Josh Zimmerman added 11 for Big Red (14-3) while Jorian Jones and Trillyun Jones evenly divided 20.

The Bruins (0-20) were paced by 10 points from Alex Lilly,

Toronto 66, Lisbon 62, OT

TORONTO — Nate Karaffa fired in a team-high 23 points as Toronto outscored Lison, 11-7, in overtime to stay red-hot.

Trillion West added 21 points including a trio of 3-pointers for the Red Knights (18-1).

Justin Sweeney had a game-high 25 points to pace Lisbon (9-9).

Harrison Central 60

Indian Creek 42

WINTERSVILLE — Kobe Mitchell poured in a game-high 30 points as Harrison Central took care of Indian Creek.

Evan Stine backed Mitchell for the Huskies (12-5) with 13 points.

Michael Allan was the lone player in double figures for the Redskins (8-11), scoring 24.

Ridgewood 54, Edison 49

RICHMOND — Anthony Sinicropi and Isaac Schmitz each scored 13 points but it wasn’t enough as Edison (6-11) hung around before falling to Ridgewood.

Cole Cognion scored a game-high 18 to pave the way for Ridgewood (12-7).
