Cameron Baseball Wins Academic Excellence Award

The 2019 Cameron High School baseball team was awarded the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2nd straight year.

The award honors high school and college programs coached by ABCA members that post a Grade Point Average more than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year.

This year, Cameron was one of approximately 300 programs in the country to be honored and was the only high school in the state of West Virginia on the list.

The team carried a cumulative 3.3 GPA throughout the entire 2018-2019 academic year.
