PREP ROUNDUP: Bellaire Girls’ Basketball Team Makes School History
BELLAIRE — Following a 66-48 victory against Brooke, the Bellaire seniors set a school record as the winningiest class in school history with their 74th victory.
One of those senior standouts, Katrina Davis, continued her stellar season with 27 points to go along with eight rebounds, eight steals and eight assists.
Taya Frazier added 13 for the Big Reds (10-4).
Madison Platt led the Bruins (1-11) with 17 points.

NEW MARTINSVILLE — Kyndra Pilant scored 34 of her team’s 41 points as Magnolia bested Linsly.
Carleigh Grimm led the Cadets (6-5) with 19 points.
Steubenville 52, St. Clairsville 36
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Steubenville outscored St. Clairsville, 15-3, in a pivotol fourth-quarter in earning a victory.
Madison Fields led Big Red with 17 points, while teammate Elexis Martin added 14.
Macy Malin paced the lone Red Devil in double figures with 10.
Edison 48, Newcomerstown 45
NEWCOMERSTOWN — Alysea Fiedorczyk led Edison with 10 points as the Wildcats rallied to beat Newcomerstown.

STEUBENVILLE — Katie Zatta led Steubenville Catholic with 12 points — all coming off 3-pointers — in a victory against Buckeye Local.
Isabella Oliver recorded a double-double for the Crusaders (9-5) with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Megan Valuksa paced the Panthers (3-10) with 13 points.
TORONTO — Toronto rode a strong first half to a victory over Caldwell.
Kendal Thomas led the Red Knights (6-8) with 10 points. Jensyn Jackson and Maddie Anderson evenly divided 14 points.
Oak Glen 50, Shenandoah 44
NEW CUMBERLAND — Zach Taylor netted 18 points, while Jacob Clark accounted for 16 as Oak Glen (6-4) upended Shenandoah.
Union Local 65, Brooke 47
BELMONT — Carter Loase led a balanced Union Local scoring attack with 14 points in a victory against Brooke.
Luke Merritt (11) and Zach Bateman (10) also had solid games for the Jets.
Nick Brown led the Bruins with 12 points (1-10).
Linsly Boys, Girls Claim Interstate Preparatory School League
WHEELNG — The Linsly swim team swept the fourth annual Interstate Preparatory School League Swimming Championships.
The girls team defended it’s title as Brynleigh Buff and Eve Ridenhour both won multiple individual events. Buff won the 50 freestyle (28.26) and 100 freestyle (1:04.82) while Ridenhour claimed the 200 freestyle (2:10.58) and 100 butterfly (1:07.45).
On the boys’ side, the Cadets won the invitational for the second time in three years. Bernie Suchoza won the 200 freestyle (2:02.24) and 100 freestyle (55.22).
