PREP ROUNDUP: Hundred Secures Victory Over Paden City in Boys’ Basketball
PADEN CITY — Logan Norris and Martin Baker supplied a double-double as Hundred cruised to a victory over Paden City. Norris tallied 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out six assists to pace the Hornets (5-3), 80-38, in prep boys’ basketball action Friday night.
Baker collected 13 points and 11 rebounds while Cody Soles tallied a team-high 27 points for Hundred. Robert Hostutler tallied a team-high 12 rebounds.
For the Wildcats (0-8), Walter Joy netted a team-high 15 points while Joel Moore had 11.
Shadyside 70, Shenandoah 54
SHADYSIDE — Kelly Hendershot had 26 points while three other Shadyside players scored in double figures in a solid victory over Shenandoah.
Korey Beckett contributed with 16 points, Tyler Parr netted 14 and Mason VanNest supplied 11 points for the Tigers.
Monroe Central 76, Bellaire 60
WOODSFIELD — Dillon Lincoln scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures as Monroe Central defeated Bellaire.
Auston Hogue added 14 while Talin Babcock and Garet Cramer each tallied 11.
Trenton Wilson again led the Big Reds with 17 points. Andrew Littell chipped in 12 and Owen Ward added 10.
Conotton Valley 59
BOWERSTON — Wyatt Brown exploded for 24 points in leading Beallsville past Conotton Valley. Adam Baker went for 20 points while Dakota Phillips had 17.

CONNORVILLE — Luke Chetcock paced Beaver Local (8-6) with 23 points in a victory against Buckeye Local.
The Panthers (4-7) were led by Jake Mayle as he bucketed 20 points.
Union Local 69, St. Clairsville 61
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Nathan Meyer led a balanced Union Local attack with 14 points in a road victory against St. Clairsville.
Matt Bateman and Luke Merritt each netted 13 for the Jets.
Brett Vike led the Red Devils with 20 points. Nate Harris scored 15 and Drew Sefsick added 12.
Edison 44, Indian Creek 30
WINTERSVILLE — Alec McBane netted 16 points and Andrew Pugh also reached double figures for with 11 points as Edison (4-7) downed rival Indian Creek.
Jacob Wright led the Redskins (0-11) with eight points.
Steubenville Catholic 42
STEUBENVILLE — Steubenville scored the final eight points of the third quarter, then stayed hot in the fourth, en route to a city championship victory inside a packed Crimson Center.
Four Big Red (7-4) players finished in double figures. Trillyun Jones led the way with 16 points, while Calvin Bickerstaff added 14. He completed his double-double by snaring a game-high 13 rebounds. Zion Sawyer contributed 11 points, nine coming from the arc, and Chase Zimmerman had 10.
Charles Miller scored 11 points to lead the Crusders (3-9). Luka Connor, who was a perfect 6-for-6 from the line, finished with 10.
PINE GROVE — Three Valley players scored in double figures in a victory over Clay-Battelle. The Lumberjills also scored 24 points in the fourth quarter after scoring 34 in the first three.
Shyanne Moore paced Valley with 13 points while Kim Soles had 11. Rachel Bates was also a solid contributor as she turned in a 10-point performance.
Alivia Ammons netted a team-high 13 points for the Cee-Bees.
