PREP ROUNDUP: Kyndra Pilant Nets 24 Points, Leads Magnolia to Win Over Tyler Consolidated
SISTERSVILLE — Kyndra Pilant bucketed 24 points, while going 14 of 18 from the free-throw line as Magnolia upended Tyler Consolidated, 46-30, in the first round of the Boggs Roundball Classic.
Lauren Templeton paced the Silver Knights with 15 points.

BELLAIRE — Katrina Davis burned the nets as she drained a three treys and scored a game-high 29 points to lead Bellaire (11-5) past Harrison Central.
McKayla Dunkle paced the Huskies (1-15) with 13 points.
Shenandoah 59, Barnesville 50
BARNESVILLE — Ashleigh Wheeler dropped in 31 points to lead Shenandoah past Barnesville.
Rylee Stephens knocked down five 3-pointers on her way to 19 points to pace the Shamrocks. Halle Markovich (12) and Anna Yater (11) also reached double figures.
Monroe Central 69, Linsly 64, OT
WOODSFIELD — Kalista Friday had a monster game with 27 points as Monroe Central needed overtime to knock off Linsly.
Haylynn Hiles added 18 points.
Carleigh Grimm 18 points and 21 rebounds for the Cadets (7-7). Haley Heitz scored 14 points and Nevaeh Cook added 13. Molly Heron chipped in with 10.
Steubenville 60, East Liverpool 31
STEUBENVILLE — Elexis Martin paced Steubenville with 22 points in a rout of East Liverpool.
Aubrey Thompson netted 13 points for Big Red (10-3).
Indian Creek 71, Buckeye Local 16
WINTERSVILLE — Indian Creek pushed its record to 14-0, thumping Buckeye Local.
Four Redskins reached double figures — Taylor Jones (17), Ally Tweedy (13), Kylie Kiger (12) and Hailey Clark (12).
Weir 59, Brooke 45
WEIR — Sophia Mikula netted 26 points as Weir evened its record with a win against rival Brooke.
Sophia Aperfine scored 13 points and Isabella Aperfine netted 11 for the Red Riders (8-8).
Ava Bolen led the Bruins (1-13) with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Cameron 51, Frontier 36
ST. MARYS — Kori Scott put up 16 points and Lili Neely turned in 12 to help lift Cameron over Frontier.
Kara Ramsey recorded a double-double for Frontier with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Dragons (7-3) will take on St. Marys on Saturday evening the tournament championship.
Linsly 50, Oak Glen 48
WHEELING — Linsly used a buzzer-beater from sophomore Caleb Murray to slip past Oak Glen at Stifel Fieldhouse.
Murray’s 25-footer right before the final horn lifted the improving Cadets to 9-4. Coach Dave Wojcik’s charges, in the hunt for an OVAC 3A playoff spot, will play host to Youngstown Cardinal Mooney on Saturday.
Senior ace Marshall Taylor again led the Linsly attack with 18 points, including three 3-pointers. Murray was next with 12 pointers, all coming on 3s, while freshman Nathan Coleman chipped in with 12.
Oak Glen received 13 points each from Gage Patterson and Zach Taylor.
