PREP ROUNDUP: Tommy Woods Records Hat Trick in Wheeling Park Hockey Win Against Linsly
WHEELING — Tommy Woods showed up in a big way against rival Linsly as he recorded a hat trick to help lift Wheeling Park to 7-3 victory against Linsly in prep hockey action.
Grant Parshall lit the lamp twice for the Patriots, while Matthew Maroney paced the Cadets with a pair of goals.

CARROLLTON — Makenzie Taylor scored 13 points and Indian Creek moved to a perfect 16-0 with a win over Carrollton.
Taylor Jones netted 11 for the Redskins and Kylie Kiger added 10.

HUNDRED — Hundred moved past the .500 mark, jumping out a 17-1 first-quarter lead and never looked back in beating Jefferson Morgan.
Mahalah Britton paced the Hornets (7-6) with a double-double of 13 points and 21 rebounds. Rachel Snedden netted 12 points and Addie Tuttle scored 10.

SARAHSVILLE — Kalista Friday exploded for 28 points as Monroe Central disposed of Shenandoah.
Amy Bettinger added 12 for the Seminoles (13-4).
Trinity 47, Paden City 21
PADEN CITY — McKenzie Thomas netted eight points for Paden City but the Wildcats fell to Trinity.
Cameron 42, Valley 27
CAMERON — Cameron outscored Valley 13-1 in the first quarter and never looked back as the Dragons improved to 9-4.
Lili Neely turned in a game-high 17 points, nine rebounds and five steals to lead Cameron and Maelyn Canada supplied eight points and nine boards.
St. Clairsville 65, Brooke 41
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Macy Malin poured in 19 points, six steals and four assists and Alexis Thoburn charted 13 points as St. Clairsville downed Brooke.
Katie Strama and Kery Klinkoski each netted 12 for the Red Devils (9-7). Strama also accumulated eight boards.
Ava Bolen paced the Bruins (1-14) with 13 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks and Natalie Ryan added 11.
TORONTO — Brendan Matyas drained a trio of treys and finished with 27 points as Toronto upended Madonna.
Shane Keenan bucketed 14 points in the win and Anthony Myslinsky added 13.
Wheeling Park Rolls in Tri
WHEELING — Wheeling Park swam to victories in both boys and girls, beating Barnesville and Union Local.
On the boys’ side, Isaac McCabe earned victories in the 200 IM (2:20.24) and 100 Breastsroke (1:10.84), Devanand Kuttan won the 200 freestyle (2:03.31) and the 100 Backstroke (1:01.17), while Max Kellas (100 Butterfly, 1:01.48), Owen Leary (100 Free, 55.40) and Garrett Rogerson (500 Free, 6:10.39) were also victorious.
Jenna Bopp paced the Patriots’ girls with victories in the 200 Free (205.91) and 100 Butterfly (1:06.88), Abby Turner won the 200 IM (2:26.61) and 100 Breaststroke (1:18.07) and Lacie Langmyer the 50 Free (28.59) and 100 Backstroke (1:11.47).
