PREP ROUNDUP: Seminoles Down Shamrocks, 60-56

BARNESVILLE — Garet Cramer paced Monroe Central with 16 points in a victory over Barnesville, 60-56 Tuesday in boys basketball action.

Luke Burkhart was solid as he turned in a 15-point performance while Malachi Rose-Burton netted 12 for the Seminoles.

For the Shamrocks, Kason Powell tallied a game-high 25 points while Asa Geillinger netted 13 and Colton Hines supplied 11.

Buckeye Local 66

Toronto 56, OT

CONNERVILLE — Jake Mayle scored a game-high 19 points while classmate Cameron Grabits tallied 14 in an overtime victory against Toronto.

Ethan McHugh and Mason Brown both had 14 points for the Panthers.

Anthony Myslinsky had a team-high 15 points off the bench for Toronto while Brant Reeves added 13 points and Shane Keenan had 10.

Steubenville Catholic 69 Edison 28

STEUBENVILLE — Charles Miller scored a game-high 24 points as Steubenville Catholic defeated Edison.

Anthony Venditti finished with 13 points for the Crusaders.

For the Wildcats, Gage Cline produced 12 points and 12 rebounds.

MORRISTOWN — Zac Bateman tallied a game-high 17 points as Union Local defeated Steubenville.

Nathan Meyer netted 12 points for the Jets.

Zion Sawyer led Big Red with 14 points while Brenton Jones tallied 10.

WINTERSVILLE — Indian Creek was unable to hang on to its lead in the fourth quarter and fell to Beaver Local.

Hunter Rothacker led the Redskins with a game-high 10 points.

Bridgeport 63

Conotton Valley 40

BOWERSTOWN — Bridgeport raced out to a 33-16 lead at halftime and never looked back en route to a victory.

Bridgeport was led by freshman Quinton Burlenski’s 21 points. Cooper Dulesky had 17 points and Reese O’Kernik added 13.


Edison 58, Wellsville 32

RICHMOND — Edison continued its winning ways with a victory over Wellsville.

Alayna Meadows led the Wildcats with 16 points. Alysea Fiedorczyk produced 10 points.

For the Tigers, Leah Vinton tallied 10 points.

Shadyside 64

Frontier 45

BEAVERTON — Shadyside bounced back from a tough loss at Union Local on Monday by cruising to a win at Frontier.

The Tigers owned a 39-point lead after three quarters.

Senior leaders Tory Hendershot and Baylee Wach once again paced the Tigers’ attack. They scored 17 and 15, respectively. Classmate Kamdyn Elerick added 13 points.
