No. 22 WLU Wins Sixth Straight Game
FROSTBURG, Md. – The No. 22-ranked West Liberty men’s basketball team breezed to its sixth straight win Saturday, hammering Frostburg State, 128-75, in Mountain East Conference action at Bobcat Arena.
West Liberty’s Dalton Bolon led the way with 31 points and 12 rebounds.
The 31 points vaulted Bolon past 2013 NCAA Division II National Player of the Year Alex Falk into fifth place on WLU’s career scoring list with 2,039 points.

WHEELING — The Cardinals had two game-winning attempts in the final eight seconds, but neither shot fell to allow Notre Dame to escape with a win at the McDonough Center.
Jay Gentry led the team with 24 points, while Reid posted 21 points and seven rebounds. Jarett Haines, who was held scoreless in the first half, finished with 10 points.

FROSTBURG, Md. – The West Liberty University women’s basketball team continued its February surge with a romp past Frostburg State in Mountain East Conference action at Bobcat Arena.
It was the fifth win in the last six outings for Coach Kyle Cooper’s surging Hilltoppers (7-7), who got a career-high 40 points from senior Olivia Belknap in completing a season sweep of the Bobcats (2-10).

WHEELING — Lilly Ritz finished two points shy of her career high with 34 points on 16 of 23 shooting to go with 24 rebounds (nine offensive) but Wheeling fell to No. 24 Notre Dame. The 2020 All-American also added five assists.
Senior guard Kelsi Chapman of Magnolia chipped in nine points on 3 of 6 shooting from long range.
