Shadyside Baseball’s Alex Baker Dominant in Perfect Game
SHADYSIDE — Shadyside’s Alex Baker only needed 37 pitches to toss a perfect game on Saturday as the Tigers dominated Frontier 10-0.
Twenty-nine of the 37 pitches thrown by Baker were strikes and he finished with three strikeouts.
He even added a hit and a RBI at the dish.
Rhys Francis paced the Shadyside offense with a single, two doubles and three RBI.

BEALLSVILLE — Wade Stoehr went deep for a home run and Landen Lydick provided two singles, a double and a pair of RBI in Monroe Central’s dominating victory over Beallsville.
Kade Demchak garnered three hits and two RBI in the win.

NEW MARTINSVILLE — Four Magnolia players scored in double figures in a victory over Valley.
Gavin Postlethwait led the way for the Blue Eagles with 23 points while Trevor Williamson tallied 17.
Kaden Johnson was also solid in netting 14 points and Hayden Pyles scored 12.
For the Lumberjacks, Gavin Streets scored 17 points.

GLEN DALE — Derrick Derrow scored 17 points to pace John Marshall, but it fell to Preston.
Roman Gray and Brennan Sobutka also scored in double figures for the Monarchs with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

LOST CREEK — Illias Fox turned in 18 points, hitting five 3-pointers and grabbing five rebounds for Hundred but the Hornets were ultimately downed by Harman.
Christian Fluharty bucketed 10 points with four boards and Bobby Hostutler barely missed a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds.
