The 25th annual BMAC Golf Classic, benefiting the BMAC Upper Ohio Valley Endowed Athletic Scholarship, was contested recently at the Moundsville Country Club with repeat champions in both the Open and Corporate Cup Divisions. The WVU Mountaineer, Colson Glover, got the scramble started by firing his musket. He stayed for the entire outing to converse and pose for photos with the golfers.

Winning the Open Division with a score of 9 under par was the team of Ed West, Ethan Cook, Jim Hartle, and Gary Gil. In the Corporate Cup Division the team of Sam Croft, Tom Stillmak, Jesse Stillmak, and Ron Helms representing Croft Manufacturing took first place, also shooting 9 under par.

Team Ed West and the Croft Manufacturing team each won their respective divisions in the 24th annual BMAC Golf Classic in 2019. The 2020 event was canceled due to Covid-19.

Winning the skill prize competitions were Bob Joseph, longest putt made from the green;

Tim Wotring, closest to the pin; and Gene Montleone, straightest drive.

Proceeds from the event fund the BMAC Upper Ohio Valley Endowed Athletic Scholarship which was established in 2001 to benefit a WVU student-athlete from Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Belmont, and Jefferson counties.

Plans are underway for the 26th annual BMAC Golf Classic to be held on Thursday.
