Linsly Hockey Team Pockets 3-1 Triumph

WHEELING — Matthew Scouvart collected his first varsity goal and Linsly took down Western Reserve 3-1 on Tuesday.

Also securing goals for the victorious Cadets were Alex Lehrke and Brenden Moore.

The game was deadlocked at 0-0 through the first period but Scouvart and Lehrke got the Cadets on the board in the second, which set the stage for Moore to finish off the victory with a netter of his own.

The win comes just two days following a dominating 7-0 Linsly victory over Athens.

Linsly goalie Kaden Hiryok collected the shut out in the win.
