NEW MARTINSVILLE — The Blue Eagles made quick work of the visiting Pilots Wednesday, sweeping their guests by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-11.

Jenna Blain led Magnolia with six kills while Delaine Postteweit had five. Blain also had three digs while Posttweit charted three blocks.

Julia Lilze recorded 10 digs with an ace and Sydney Knight dished out 19 assists with eight aces. Maddi Yoho was credited with eight digs.

Wheeling Central Sweeps Madonna

WEIRTON — The Maroon Knights handled the Blue Dons on their home court Wednesday by scores of 25-8, 25-9 and 25-15.

Kamy Conners once again led the Knights with 19 kills and four digs. Nicole Reasbeck charted four kills with 12 digs and two blocks.

Lainey Peters passed out 14 assists, Olivia Kahle had 14 digs and gabby Leadbitter recorded 10 digs.

Caldewll def. Linsly

WHEELING — After dropping the first set, Caldwell rebounded to defeat Linsly in four sets by scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-15.

For the Cadets, Avery Sadlowski led the team with 14 kills. Ava Gainer racked up eight kills and three blocks with 38 assists and an ace. Rumer Beazel recorded seven kills with a block.
